It is extremely important to us at The Peppered Cupcake in baking you, hopefully, the best cupcake you've ever tasted. With that being said, it is also extremely important to us to take great care in shipping these delectables. Each cupcake jar is baked to order and shipped within just a few hours of baking.
During the winter months your cakes are shipping without gel packs. Due to the packaging, the jars are fine in temperatures up to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. During the warmer months the jars will arrive with gel packs.
Although the jars are fine at temperatures of 80 degrees Fahrenheit, it is important to bring them into cooler temperatures. If you know that you will not be at the receiving address for a few days, please make arrangements for someone to handle the package prior to shipping.
We offer USPS Ground Priority Mail. We do not offer Overnight shipping at this time. We ship our jars Monday thru Saturday. Please allow approximately 7-10 days for your package to arrive after your order has been processed. We cannot guarantee a "deliver by" date.
We ship our packages with "No Signature Required" which allows the USPS driver to leave the package at the destination. If you would prefer a signature, please let us know in the "message to seller" section of your checkout page. Please note that requiring a signature may delay your package and affect the quality of your package. The Peppered Cupcake cannot be responsible for delayed delivery due to a signature not being signed.
The Peppered Cupcake does not ship to PO Boxes, APO/FPO, Hawaii or Alaska due to the perishability of our product. We can only ship to Continental U.S. addresses. We will also provide a tracking number from the USPS to the email address provided in the billing details from your order.
As mentioned earlier, we take great care in shipping our cupcakes. When your package is shipped we are at the mercy of the USPS. If your package is damaged upon arrival, you must report it immediately upon receipt. No refund will be given for shipping delays due to weather, package refusal, unusual postal delays, incorrect or incomplete addresses.
