| Policy/FAQ PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE PLACING ORDER. It is important that you understand this policy so things flow smoothly during your order for delivery or shipping. If you have already read these terms, please click here to place your order. |
| FAQ What days do you deliver and what days do you ship? We deliver on Fridays only and we DO NOT SHIP. Do you deliver on other days for special occasions? Other delivery days are available if your order exceeds $100 or more. Do you deliver on the weekends? The Peppered Cupcake is closed for the weekend, so if you need an order delivered on the weekend there will be a $50 surcharge for weekend deliveries unless we are having a holiday promotion special. FYI: Cakes delivered on Friday will last for 7 days. If berries are on your cakes they may ripen quickly therefore should be consumed within 2-3 days. How much notice do you need for an order? The Peppered Cupcake bakes fresh upon order so, we do ask that you give a 2 day notice for all orders. Orders must be placed by end of business day Tuesday for Friday delivery. What about last minute orders? If your order is 2 dozen or less and you need cupcakes on the same day you call, we will do our best to accommodate your order. You must call by 10 am and you will have to take from an assortment of flavors that are already available that day. Remember, there may be times that your last minute order cannot be fulfilled. We encourage you to call and leave a message on our emergency number 910-409-0980. PLEASE DO NOT FILL OUT AN ORDER FOR AND PAY ONLINE...YOU MUST CALL IF YOUR REQUEST IS LAST MINUTE. How much notice do you need on large orders? A large order is 12 dozen or more. For large orders a 7 day notice is required. |
How long will my cupcakes keep fresh and how do I care for them?
Our cupcakes are made with fresh ingredients. No preservatives. Your cakes are always best if eaten the same day of delivery. The cakes
will last up to 7 days at room temperature. Berries will decrease this time frame. If you have berries, please refrigerate for they will ripen
quickly. They last longer if refrigerated. Possibly up to a week. Remove from frig and bring back to room temperature or microwave no
more than 10-12 sec. Some of our cakes need to be refrigerated after the first day, such as Apples & Gorgonzola. (Your box will contain a
description on the label if your cakes need to be refrigerated if not eaten on the first day.) This applies to regular cupcakes and Cupcakes in
a Jar.
Do you gift wrap your boxes?
For regular cupcakes our boxes are already beautifully wrapped.
How far do you deliver?
We deliver throughout Eastern North Carolina. Please see map below to see our coverage area. We can meet you within this coverage
area if you areoutside of the border lines. For instance, we had a wedding booked for the Outer Banks and our customer met us in
Greenville as they were passing through.
Can you deliver outside of the coverage area.
If your delivery is 30 miles or less outside of the coverage area, yes we can deliver outside of the coverage area with a surcharge of $50.
Please let us give you a prearranged quote before placing your order.
Do you offer Military delivery?
We do offer delivery to the military, however, we DO NOT deliver on base any longer. Unless your order exceeds $100 for an event, for
example. If your order does not exceed this amount, your recipient must meet us on the outside of the MAIN gate and a valid phone number
for that recipient must be provided. We will be able to give a 30 minutes notice of our arrival time. NO EXCEPTIONS.
If no one is home, can you leave the package outside?
Cupcakes cannot be left outside of the home. The sun will melt them quickly. Also, ants love cupcakes! They will have fat bellies before you
get home and you will have missed out on these delectables. Someone must be present to receive the package. Please make
arrangements accordingly with a neighbor or arrange for us to deliver them at work. Not having this prearranged throws our delivery
schedule behind and your order may not be delivered until the next delivery day. Remember deliveries are Tuesdays and Fridays.
Can I stop by your bakery and pick up cupcakes?
The Peppered Cupcake is a delivery and wholesale bakery only. You may find our cupcakes at restaurants and cafés in your area. Please

Although in a perfect world we would like to tell you exactly what time to expect your delivery, that is not possible. Delivery runs from
9-5pm. We cover a large territory and asking for a specific time is not possible. Please make arrangements so that someone will be able to
accept the cupcakes and keep them in a cool dry place.
Do you deliver for large events such as weddings and corporate events?
Yes. If you are outside the delivery area additional fees will apply. You are responsible for set up. We only deliver the cupcakes.
Do you offer Topsy Turvy or do you make birthday cakes?
We offer cupcakes only and they are the ones you see on our site here. We do not modify the presentation of our gourmet cupcakes.

Can you decorate my cupcakes to coordinate with my party theme?
The Peppered Cupcake offers gourmet cupcakes and the unique flavor combinations and presentation are what defines and separates our
cakes from the masses. We do not modify our cake decorations except for wedding cupcakes which are explained on the wedding page.

- On the following page you need to fill out Part I and Part II and click the "Submit Form" button to complete your order form.
- All blanks must be filled. You should receive a confirmation page that your form was sent successfully and an additional email from
The Peppered Cupcake within 8 business hours confirming your information. So, please make sure you enter your email address
correctly. Please check your email for the confirmation and confirm your order. - If you are paying by Cash/Check, your order is complete. Please make checks payable to The Peppered Cupcake. Payment will
be due at time of delivery. No exceptions. - Credit Card Payment. If you are paying by credit card, once you receive your confirmation page, that page will contain a link to
complete your credit card payment using the secure PayPal system. Your order WILL NOT be processed until all forms are
complete and payment has been received if paying by credit card. No exceptions.
